The principals of the firm joined to form their law practice in order to perform high level professional legal services on behalf of their clients (not the typical model adhered to by larger firms where partners are primarily engaged in business development and much of the legal work is delegated to less experienced professionals). While the partners are deeply committed to the practice of law, they also participate in charitable and philanthropic activities. The partners were among the original founders of City Kids, Inc., a program where children in underprivileged areas were tutored weekly in the key areas of Mathematics and English, the Champs Foundation, where families receive financial support while their children are undergoing cancer treatment, and other local charitable organizations. In addition, the partners are active in a variety of local civic affairs.
